A Memphis native, Marcus Finnie moved to Nashville for a degree in production and technology at Middle Tennessee State University. While living in Nashville, Marcus has performed with Lady Antebellum, Larry Carlton, Donna Summer, Kirk Whalum, India Arie, Keb Mo, Billy Preston, Earl Klugh, Tamir Hendleman, Monte Montgomery, Larry Goldings, Steve Green, Aaron Neville, and CeCe Winans. Marcus has also recorded with Grammy and Stellar Award nominated and winning artists’ Kirk Whalum, India Arie, Michael McDonald, Smokie Norful, Donnie McClurkin, American Idols’ Ace Young, Rodney Crowell, Vickie Winans, Rachel Lampa, and several others.
